Pamir Mountains

The Pamir Mountains are a mountain range in between Central, South, and East Asia at the junction of the Himalayas with the Tian Shan, Karakoram, Kunlun, and the Hindu Kush ranges.
In the heart of Asia, on the borders of Tajikistan, Afghanistan, China, and Kyrgyzstan, the Pamir Mountain range is the tallest and the most extensive in the world.
The average elevation of the Pamir range is 6,100 meters (20,000 feet), and the highest point in the Pamir core range is the Stalin Peak also known as Ismoil Somoni Peak with an elevation of 7,495 meters (24,590 ft).
The Kungur Tagh also known as Kongkoerh with an elevation of 7,649 meters in the Eastern Pamirs, China.
